the company change name to Tore Smith Food AB and moves to a new fresh office in the center of Höllviken..

since October 2010, the company is owned by Ulf Ekdahl and Mats Liljegren, both with long-standing and solid experience in the food trade.
This "fourth generation" now operates the company.

1980
the third generation Smith, Tore, started in the company and then took mover the business after his father's retirement
1945
at the end of the war, imports began again, and Christmas goods - nuts, figs, dates, etc. – were added to the business. A year later, the company was converted into a limited company.
1944
Tores son Torsten, who started in the company four years earlier, became partner and the company changed name to Tore Smith & Son.
1915
the company was founded by Tore Smith in Malmö.
Important import goods at this time were dried fruit from California, meat products from Chicago, coal, coffee, preserves and groceries.
